Precision Rifle Two

This class takes everything from our Zero and One classes and culminates in putting everything to the test. This will focus heavily on positional shooting, tripod deployment & usage, unknown distance targets and simply “staying off your belly”. We dive into the depths of your provided loaner Kestrel 5700 Elite to get every ounce of data out and see the results downrange. A student signing up for this class should be intimately familiar with his/her weapon system.
This class would be beneficial for anyone looking to learn more about PRS-style competition shooting.
Our class format for this class will be held over two days.
Saturday & Sunday 8am-4pm
Topics to Be Covered Include:
-Proper Rifle Operation & Safe Handling
-Fundamentals Refresher
-Checking Zero & Chronographing
-Positional Shooting on various props & obstacles
-Proper Techniques for Various Positions
-Gear Management
-Tripod Deployment & Utilization
-Various Tripod Shooting Techniques
-Engaging unknown distance targets
-Utilizing your loaner Kestrel 5700 Elite for Various data gathering
Lodging on site is available for an added cost on Saturday into Sunday and is booked directly with BFR
Required Items:
Rifle (Bolt Action or Semi-Auto)
Magnified Optic (Mil or MOA)
Bipod
Magazines (At least 2)
Rear bag
Eye & Ear Protection
Food & Water
300 rounds of ammunition (Match Grade preferred but not mandatory)
Tools for your weapon system
Weather appropriate clothing (we shoot rain or shine)
Pen & paper
